This and most your songs are so damn good. They are simple yet brilliantly crafted. The tones you use take me to that in-between place that is so totally ineffable. A+ Dude.

MeatAnalogue responds:

Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoy it :)

I know this is an early version of the song but I really love the simplicity, reminds me of the group Underworld. I can defiantly chill to this.

TeraVex responds:

Thanks! It means a lot to hear that from someone with as much experience as you!

This song is so good... So good that it makes me green with jealousy. I've downloaded this and added it to my special playlist that I listen to when I need to be inspired. I will be following your work henceforth!

Cheers!

VegetarianMeat responds:

Heh, thanks. This is a pretty old track; made it about 7 years ago, glad to see some people are still enjoying it :)

Recently I haven't been putting up too much on NG, but I've partnered up with a programmer and we're working on getting some games going, so I'll be working on game-y stuff for a while. I'll likely be putting that stuff up on my bandcamp page. We've got our first game out now (Treasure Hunter). It's a simple platformer, and I had quite a bit of fun creating the sounds/soundtrack.

If you wanna hear something recent that's more in-line with this kind of song, check out:

Anyways, thanks for the review man!

Totally digging this, great work as usual mr. bastard.

Kingbastard responds:

Thanking you kindly;)

ooo me likey, very smooth transitions and meaningful sound progression. I thought I could almost hear a woman singing in the background is that you or am I hearing stuff? Ended rather abruptly but I'm sure you know that already. I'm the king of abrupt endings so I can't fault you for that. Keep up the great work!

AshleyAlyse responds:

Well, look who it is! :D Nah, it's just a little female choir refill I found. I should probably turn it up a little so it can be heard better. I really appreciate you taking the time to review my music. Thank you so much! Can't wait to hear your next submission! :)

I love it

this is incredibly funny, i only wish it was longer.

Schleif responds:

haha, thank you!

beautiful

i loved this, the composition was pretty much flawless and the melodies had a sweeping nature that made it feel very magical. i enjoyed this very much. only thing i could say i would change would be the way it loops, though i don't think you intended it to, and a few EQ tweeks. but honestly the most important part is the writing and its beautiful. 5/5

AshleyAlyse responds:

Thank you for your review and vote! It means a lot coming from a composer so talented as yourself. :) I am so very glad you enjoyed it! :D I am going to finish this song as soon as I can. I will probably add on another minute, so It might be nice to loop it. I will look into that. :)

hmmm real talent?

though the intro was a bit light, i really really loved the obscure melody it was unexpected and original which is a rare thing to find on this site. don't let the trolls get you down, in fact the more the trolls screw with you the better off you are. i'm looking forward to hearing more music by you.

gingerspine responds:

Wow, thank you so much for leaving a comment! Means a lot to me, coming from someone who writes such fantastic songs.
I'm glad you liked it! I have about ten hours of piano music I've recorded over the past years to wade though; hopefully I'll have some new songs posted soon!
Thanks for the encouragement- really boosts up my creative spirit. Looking forward to hearing more from you as well! :)
Should I change the beginning, then? I didn't want to just jump right into the melody, but I wasn't quite sure how to start it. I'll figure something out. :p

smoooooth

really nice, goes down smooth. you did a fine job it really feels like an epic opening for a sci-fi film.

Wickedlat responds:

thank you sir

really good

this is a very well put together little song, has a lot of character to it. but why post an alternative song like this in "New Wave"? its just asking to get voted down. anyhow 5/5 9/10 from me.

LordKrad22 responds:

What would genre should it be under? I think I'll switch it over to general rock...
